Denis Istomin and Evgeny Karlovskiy won the doubles title at the Sparkasse Challenger Val Gardena Südtirol. The Uzbek and the Russian defeated Marco Bortolotti and Sergio Martos Gornes (Italy/Spain) in the final this afternoon with a score of 6:3, 7:5 in one hour and eleven minutes of play. In the second set Bortolotti/Martos Gornes were ahead 5:2, but failed to go to the match tiebreak. The winners collect 2670 euros (for two) and 80 world ranking points.
